Rob Hollink had to struggle a hardly, four-day battle against 211 entrants to win the European Poker Tour Grand Final 10,000 Euro No-Limit Hold’em event.
Held in Monte Carlo’s Sporting D’Hiver, the competition, presented a prize of 2,110,000 Euros. Between the most memorable contributors in the incident, such poker stars as Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer, the tennis commotion Yefgeny Kafelnikove, and the French pop star Patrick Bruel, he was there.
Prior to the winning of the 2005 EPT Championship episode, Marcel Luske, his fellow Dutchman predicted: “Rob, it will be your future EPT Champion.”
